Blog Post of the Day:
What do you know about photography and/or photo editing? Do you take photos? How do you take photos? Do you edit photos before posting them on social media? How do you edit them? Explain any background or knowledge you have about photography and photo editing. Do you like it? Do you have any interest?

Not much, about as much as Instagram has tried to teach me by making my photos look fake. I take pictures of literally everything and I don't know why. I take all my pictures on my phone but then I upload them to my computer. I edit them sometimes but only like a casual filter from an app called Picfx. I do really like picture taking but I'm not too fabulous at it. I really want a good camera so I could get better at it.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 20

Blog Post of the Day:
Tell me about your weekend. Share pics!

Friday night we had a home football game that I cheered at. It was super fun with the little girls cheering with us and Pink Out is always my favorite game. After, a ton of people went over to my friend Cameron's house and ordered pizzas. We also played a very violent game of baseball which ended in bat welts. On Saturday I had dance from 11:30-2:45. We had a break in between so a few of us walked up to Jersey Boyz and had lunch. Saturday night, I went over to my friend Kylie's house to catch up, and then I went over to Chase's house and stayed there for the rest of the night, which was super fun even though I lost my shoes.  On Sunday I had another long day of dance from 11:30-4:15. I started my solo, which I absolutely love. We had another break in between classes so we walked to Starbucks and Price Chopper to get food. I always love hanging out with my dance friends because we all come from different areas so the only thing we bond about is fun stuff like dancing, not the stress of school or local drama. On Sunday night, I was supposed to go get Chipotle and see a movie with a few people, but we all ended up having too much homework and didn't do anything. I stayed home, cleaned my room, and practiced the dances I learned this weekend on my driveway. (leaving my legs very scraped up, but it was worth it.)

Below is a letter written to the editor who wrote the article 'Enforcement of dress code creates negative effect' that your blogged about last week. Most of you wrote on your blog that you agreed with the writer. What are your thoughts after reading the letter below and seeing a different perspective. Are they the same? Are the different? Do you agree? Disagree? Explain yourself.

I can see where you're coming from as a teacher, but I would have to agree more with Riley. There are certain things that all humans have, that should not be visible when just walking around the school. And personally, I know I haven't been here as long as some people, but I have yet to see anything disturbing in the halls. Us as young adults we should have the right to wear what we want and express ourselves through our clothing, Were not professionals, we may be learning to be them, but we currently aren't so there is a time and a place for that, and that would be when were older and sitting in offices all day doing nothing.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 13

Blog Post of the Day:
A curriculum that is actually going to get us to where we need and want to be when we get older. Many of us already have our jobs picked out, and the classes were enrolled in aren't getting us closer to pursuing our dreams and may be pushing us farther away from them. And for those students that haven't decided what they want to do when they get older, they will take classes that will help them decide this and that will be preparing them for almost any job. The courses could be taught by people that have retired from these fields or are currently in them. I would study something related to criminal justice, police work or something involving the FBI. A class about examining bodies and causes of death would also be helpful. If they could make a high school level class similar to the one in the show "How to Get Away With Murder" that would be very helpful also. These classes would differ from my current classes because they would actually be interesting and would be helping me in pursuing my dream of being in the FBI New York Branch.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7

Blog post of the day:
The following article was in the September issue of The Tiger Print. Read the article (even if you already have) and respond to it below. What do you think? Do you agree? Disagree? Consider all perspectives of the article while you respond
This article is very well written and I agree completely with what shes saying, besides the bash on Lilly because that's a lot cuter than some high waisted crop top converse looking thing. But I still back her up with what shes saying. I really liked the part where she said that boys should learn to control themselves, not make girls completely change how they dress or act. We have to dress up for cheer at least once a week or so and the upperclassmen are constantly getting in trouble for wearing inappropriate dresses or spaghetti straps. I see them and what their wearing, and I personally think the teachers are completely over-reacting. Of-course, i'm not a guy, so I don't know whats running through their heads, but clearly neither does that 75 year old teacher that just reported you. If a male reports your innopropriate clothing, I think they need to have a chat with your parents, not you.

Like seriously whats attractive about a womans back?
And how is this 'slutty?'
I think girls should be allowed to wear whatever they want, unless it becomes a huge riot where people are getting killed or the person is getting bullied, then teachers can get involved, otherwise, just leave us alone.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6

Blog post of the day:
Tell me about your weekend! If you don't have anything fun to share, tell me about the city you live in. What do you love about Kansas City? Do you have a favorite place in the city? Favorite team? :) Favorite event? Explain.

On Friday night, I went to the Freshman A football game with a bunch of my friends, and then went shopping and to dinner with my mom. On Saturday, I had 2.5 hours of more auditions, and I think those went okay. On Saturday night, I went to Worlds of Fun with tons of people and had such a great time. We did a few rides and did most of the haunted houses. On Sunday, I had 4.5 hours of auditions and those made me so tired. After that we had a company bowling party and I lost both games. That night, I watched the Royals and had Chipotle!
